You had a beautiful healing session. You felt peaceful, open, lighter. And then you got home and could barely keep your eyes open. Or maybe the next day you felt like you had run a marathon. What happened?
This is completely normal. In fact, it is usually a sign that something significant shifted.
When energy healing clears blockages, releases old patterns, or removes heavy energies, your body needs time to process and integrate these changes. Think of it like a deep clean of a house that has not been touched in years. The cleaning itself stirs up dust. It takes time for everything to settle.
Here is what is actually happening:
Your energy body is reorganising. Old pathways are closing and new ones are opening. Your nervous system is recalibrating from a state of chronic tension to one of rest. Toxins that were held in place by energetic blockages are being released. Emotions that were suppressed are finally moving through.
All of this takes energy. So your body does the wisest thing it can: it asks you to rest.
My advice? Listen to it. Sleep if you need to sleep. Drink plenty of water. Eat nourishing food. Go gently for a day or two. This is not a setback. This is your body doing exactly what it needs to do to integrate the healing you just received.
Most people find that the fatigue passes within 24 to 48 hours and is followed by a period of clarity, lightness, and renewed energy that lasts much longer.
