One of the most important things I tell my clients is this: healing is not a straight line. It never has been, and it never will be. And the sooner we accept that, the kinder we can be with ourselves on the journey.
We live in a culture that loves progress. We want to see improvement every day, every week, every session. We want to feel better tomorrow than we did today. And sometimes we do. But sometimes we do not. Sometimes healing looks like two steps forward and one step back. Sometimes it looks like falling apart before coming together.
This is not failure. This is how deep healing works.
When we begin to shift old patterns , whether they are personal, ancestral, or spiritual , the system reorganises. Things that were buried come to the surface. Emotions we thought we had dealt with reappear. This can feel like going backwards, but it is actually the opposite. The fact that these things are surfacing means they are finally ready to be released.
I have sat with so many people who came to me worried that their healing was not working because they had a difficult week after a powerful session. I always say the same thing: that difficult week is the healing. The body is processing. The energy is shifting. The old patterns are loosening their grip.
Be patient with yourself. Be gentle with the process. Trust that your healing knows its own timeline. And if you need support along the way, that is what I am here for. Not to fix you , you are not broken , but to walk alongside you while you remember who you really are.
